Our expertise

We founded our company in Munich, Germany, in 2007 after more than 12 years of international research and teaching experience at universities and research institutes in Germany, the UK, Denmark, and the Netherlands.  Both of us hold doctorates in the natural sciences but have a strong interdisciplinary background. We have been keynote speakers at major scientific conferences and worked as journal editors for major academic publishing houses. Our experience in publishing, research management, and the supervision of international PhD students is extensive.

The motivation for setting up this company came from our own experience of and research into the performance of academics and the management of research. This research identified a need for more training and guidance on complementary skills in academia as well as for strategic advice for leading academics at universities and research institutes. Since founding the company, we have trained over 1,000 academics throughout Europe.
